Part of Clarks Bridge Rd. to close for up to 60 days

GAINESVILLE - Georgia DOT says a section of Clarks Bridge Road/SR 284 will be closed for a maximum of 60 days beginning Tuesday, May 27, for the construction of a pedestrian tunnel under the roadway near the rowing venue.

Traffic cannot continue to flow in as crews change the grade of the roadway by three feet and build the pedestrian tunnel under SR 284.
