Trash, recyclable service for Clermont approved

By Marc Eggers Anchor / Reporter
CLERMONT - Clermont City Clerk Sandra Helton reports that the City Council approved trash and recyclable pickup service at Tuesday night's meeting.

"The Town of Clermont voted in the meeting last night to allow Chase Sanitation to begin the process of picking up trash and recycles for the citizens living in the city limits of Clermont," Helton said.

"This is an optional service the Town provides. The cost is $12.25 per month. If you wish to have recycles picked up there is an additional charge of $2.50 per month. This change will take place at the beginning of July 2014," Helton added.

Further details will be released soon by the north Hall municipality.
