CLARKESVILLE - The Clarkesville-based North Georgia Soccer Association (NGSA) and the Georgia Mountain Soccer Association (GMSA) are merging this fall.<br />
NGSA's Jeff LaBarbera says his group's annual meeting next month "will be very important" to many families in White County where the GMSA is based. "We want them to have a say."<br />
He says the annual meeting is a time to review the soccer program, discuss issues, ideas, and suggestions. <br />
"Most importantly we will be electing new leadership for the program. Parent input is needed and requested, as well as any issues, problems, or suggestions that are discussed. This meeting gives parents a platform to speak up."<br />
It will be held at the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center in Clarkesville, May 8, at 6:00.
