Global shipping company to employ 160 in Gwinnett

ATLANTA - United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) will relocate its North American headquarters to Gwinnett County, investing double-digit millions and employ 160 people.

The 50,000-square-foot facility, located off of Spalding Drive in Peachtree Corners, will house shipping logistics, accounting, finance and customer service activities as well as executive management for the company's North American operations.

The UASC project was a collaborative effort between the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the Metro Atlanta Chamber.
