VP Biden to visit Atlanta Tuesday

ATLANTA (AP) Vice President Joe Biden is expected to visit Atlanta on Tuesday.

The White House said in a brief statement that the vice president will attend an event for U.S. Senate candidate Michelle Nunn at a private residence at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Nunn, a Democrat, has announced plans to run for Georgia's open U.S. Senate seat

Few other details of the vice president's visit were announced.
