CLEVELAND - It's been a busy afternoon for Cleveland Fire Department personnel.
In addition to a sledding accident with four injuries at Truett-McConnell College, personnel also responded to a vehicle that collided with a building.
Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said the vehicle was traveling west on Highway 115 (East Kytle Street), and when it crested the hill in front of Truett-McConnell College, the driver lost control on the snow and ice.
The vehicle then left the roadway and struck and broke a porch pillar on the Law Office of Stanley Lawson. There were no injuries and no structural damage, Pruitt said.
