Results of special elections certified; one involved voters in parts of Forsyth Co.

ATLANTA - Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp has certified the results for the February 4 Special Runoff Elections in the 2nd State House District and the 22nd State House District.

The official results are as follows:

HD 2

Neal Florence: 1,649 votes, 46.14%

Steve Tarvin: 1,925 votes, 53.86%

HD 22 (which includes a portion of Forsyth County)

Megan Biello: 1,113 votes, 42.27%

Sam Moore: 1,520 votes, 57.73%

In certifying the results, Secretary of State Kemp affirmed that all counties in the 2nd State House District and the 22nd State House District have provided to the State the total votes tabulated for each candidate. Further, Secretary of State Kemp affirms that the returns are a true and correct tabulation of the certified returns received by this office from each county.
