Softball: Region 8-AAAA All-Region announced; Lady Wolves sweep top awards

Buford dominated the Region 8-AAAA All-Region girls softball team.<br /> <br /> The awards were released Thursday.<br /> <br /> Buford's Jordan Deep was named Player of the Year while the Lady Wolves' Bria Bush was nameed Pitcher of the Year. lady Wolves coach Tony Wolfe was named Coach of the Year to sweep the major awards.<br /> <br /> Buford also had Tessa Daniels (IF), Baylee Sexton (IF), Alexis Murray (C), Sydney Stavro (OF), Kennedy Kotula (P), and Samantha Thomas (UTL) were named to the 1st Team.
