Boys basketball: Warriors hold off North Hall

CLEVELAND -- The White County boys basketball team took an early lead and maintained their advantage in a 87-70 win over North Hall on Friday in Cleveland.

The Warriors (14-6, 6-4 Region 7-AAA) led 17-15 after the first quarter and 42-35 at the half.

Jordan Egerton put up a game-high 25 points for White County, while Spencer Adams scored 14 and grabbed 10 rebounds. Witt Mauney also scored 11.

Carson Heinen put up 22 points in the loss for the Trojans, while Evan Easton added 14. Harrison Lovell also put up 10.

North Hall will look to bounce back against Flowery Branch on Saturday.

White County will travel to face Buford on Tuesday.
