Girls basketball: West Hall falls at Banks County

HOMER -- The Banks County girls basketball team defeated West Hall 60-34 on Friday in Homer.

The Lady Leopards sprinted to a 21-11 first quarter lead in the game.

Kaitlyn Duncan scored a game-high 24 points to pace Banks County.

Maia Booker scored 22 for West Hall (6-12, 0-9 Region 7-AAA), while Macy Passmore added eight.

West Hall plays host to Johnson at 6 p.m. Saturday.
