Justus named 7-AAA Athletic Director of the Year

OAKWOOD -- Over the past two years, Scott Justus has helped re-build West Hall High athletics.

The Spartans athletic director has guided the hiring of eight new head coaches over that span, including in baseball, basketballl (girls), football, golf (girls), softball, soccer (boys), tennis (boys) and track (girls).

Plenty of those hires have made immediate positive impacts, including football coach Tony Lotti, who led West Hall to its first state playoff berth in 11 years.

Justus' efforts have not gone unnoticed, as the members of Region 7-AAA recently voted him Athletic Director of the Year for the league for 2013.

The vote was conducted by fellow 7-AAA athletic directors and principals.

Justus is in his fourth year as West Hall athletic director.
