GAINESVILLE - Hall County State Court Solicitor Stephanie Woodard plans to seek re-election this year.
Woodard has held the post since Jan. 2009. She was appointed by then-Gov. Sonny Perdue to fill the vacancy left when Larry Baldwin was appointed by Perdue to a new State Court judgeship in Hall County.
In 2010, Woodard ran unopposed for a full term in the office.
Woodard announced her plans to run for re-election this year at a campaign kick-off in Gainesville Thursday night.
