Boys basketball: Lakeview stays on top in 8A-A

GAINESVILLE -- Lakeview Academy remained atop the Region 8A-A standings after a 57-33 thumping of Prince Avenue Christian Tuesday night.

The Lions (10-6, 5-2 Region 8-A) outscored the Wolverines 35-19 in the first half. They held Prince Avenue to just 14 points in the second half.

Tae Turner led the Lions with 12 points. David Abee had 11 points and JB Britte 10 points for Lakeview Academy.

Rob Krealing led Prince Avenue with 11 points.

Lakeview Academy next will play host to Hebron Christian on Friday.
