McEver closing for overnight work

By Derreck Booth Anchor/reporter
FLOWERY BRANCH - Hall County crews were closing McEver Road near Jim Crow Road Thursday evening for repair work.

Workers with Hall County Road Maintenance and Traffic departments were expected to work during the closure between 7:00 p.m. Thursday and 6:00 a.m. Friday morning.

The detour is onto Radford Road during the work.

While the closure will end at Friday morning rush hour, it's expected to start up again at 9:00 a.m. and last until it's finished.

According to county public information officer Katie Crumley, the repair involves a pipe that washed out a portion of the shoulder of the road.
