Volleyball: Lakeview looks strong in sweep of AAAA teams

LOGANVILLE -- Lakeview Academy swept Loganville and Heritage in a pair of girls volleyball matches Tuesday on the road.

The Lady Lions won a tight match over host Loganville 25-21, 25-22 to open the tri-match. They then knocked off Heritage 25-17, 25-23 in the second match.

Shelby Ross led the Lady Lions with 10 kills, five aces and one block. Katie White added eight kills and 10 digs and Katie Gay added eight kills for Lakeview.

Bailey Towles had 18 assists and Delaney Jarrett had 14 assists for the Lady Lions. Peaches Shipley had three blocks.

Lakeview next will take part in the Lumpkin County play day on Saturday.
