Volleyball: Lakeview sweeps past West Hall, Chestatee

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy girls volleyball team swept a tri-match Thursday night against West Hall and Chestatee.

The Lady Lions whipped West Hall 25-17, 25-15 in the first match and then held off Chestatee 25-6, 17-25, 25-23 in the second match.

Katie White paced Lakeview with 14 kills, 11 digs and four aces while Kaylee McClendon added nine kills, two aces and one block. Bailey Towles had 15 assists and nine aces, Delaney Jarrett added nine assists, Samantha Versteeg had 17 digs and Peaches Shipley had three blocks.

Lakeview will be back in action on Saturday in Athens in a tri-match with host Athens Academy and Tallulah Fall.
