Hay fire blocks Ga. 365 south for a time

CORNELIA - Burning hay on board a tractor trailer shut down Ga. Highway 365 for a time Saturday morning.

Habersham County authorities said the hay on board the trailer ignited, prompting the closure of the southbound lanes of the highway near the U.S. 441 Bypass.

Lanes re-opened around 11:45 a.m., although officials remained on the scene for salvage and overhaul operations.

There were no reported injuries.
