MT. AIRY - The Town of Mt. Airy again has postponed it's Georgia Cities Day activities and Mt. Airy Nationals Car Show, which were set for Saturday, July 6.
"They're saying this weather pattern is going to be with us through Tuesday," said Mayor Pro Tem Mike McCoy on Friday morning.
"If it was a 40-percent chance of showers in the afternoon, maybe we could get it in, but they're saying now it's a 70-percent chance of rain."
The event had been rescheduled from April due to rain.
McCoy said the town and civic association may reschedule the activities later once the rainy weather pattern changes.
