Forsyth Co. man succumbs to injuries suffered in Mon. crash

CUMMING- A Forsyth County man has died following a Monday afternoon crash at the intersection of Chattahoochee and Bethel View Roads near Cumming.

Forsyth County Sheriff's officials said Jeffrey Noda, 53, was taken to Grady Hospital by air ambulance after the accident, where he died of injuries he suffered.

Authorities said Noda, who was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, turned left onto Shady Grove Road from Chattahoochee Road into the path of a Ford L9000 dump truck, driven by Joel Edmondson of Cumming.

Edmondson received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The accident occurred around 4 p.m. Monday.

Authorities said they do not anticipate any charges.
