CARNESVILLE - Franklin Community Players President Cary Turner announces that the organization is accepting applications for its 2012/2013 college scholarship program. The local not-for-profit theatre troupe will award up to two $500 scholarships to local high school seniors. <br />
Only high school seniors who reside in Franklin County or who attend high school in Franklin County are eligible to submit an application. <br />
All information, including a completed application, must be received by Franklin Community Players by April 1. Late applications will not be considered. The winner will be selected by the FCP Board.<br />
Application forms are available at Franklin County High School and at the Franklin County Board of Education office. Completed applications can be submitted to Franklin Community Players Scholarship Chair, P.O. Box 5, Carnesville, GA 30521.<br />

Earlier this month, the Wrigley Company announced plans to hire 150 new employees for its facility in Flowery Branch. Starting on Wednesday, May 27, the company will begin taking applications for some of those positions.
