Tennis: Lady Trojans knock off Chestatee

GAINESVILLE -- The North Hall girls swept the doubles in taking a 4-1 win over Chestatee Tuesday in tennis action.<br /> <br /> In the doubles, the No. 1 team of Hannah Gibson and Kaitlyn Smith beat Grace Brown and Haley King 6-2, 6-2 and the No. 2 team of Courtney Barnes and McKay Higginbotham beat Caroline Gijon and Natalie McNitt 6-2, 6-1.<br /> <br /> In singles, Chestatee's Lily King rallied from a set down to beat the Lady Trojans' Kelsey McCray 5-7, 6-3, 6-7 [7-1] at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 singles, North Hall's Natalie Oxley beat Chestatee's Fernanda Arranz 6-2, 6-3 and North Hall's Tricia Dial beat the Lady War Eagles' Lauren McNitt 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.<br /> <br /> North Hall (1-0) next will travel to Lumpkin County on Thursday.
