GAINESVILLE - Main Street Gainesville released a new logo Monday in hopes of
attracting even more business and visitors to the already active
Main Street Manager Regina Mansfield said the release of the new logo is very timely.
"I've spent the last year building on an already successful Main Street program and am excited to announce the release of this logo. We wanted a logo that would work well in social media as well as print and were looking for something a little edgy," said Mansfield.
"When you shop the Gainesville Square you experience something different in each store and restaurant. The logo features several prominent downtown icons in different colors. We are trying to show that each business is different, but still connected. It's timely because we've just started a new membership campaign and we're preparing to release our QR code program as a boost for economic development."
Main Street Gainesville soon will be announcing this year's performers for
the May Blue Sky Concert series soon.
