Hall Co authorities battled woods fire

MURRAYVILLE - Hall County authorities were on the scene of a woods fire in Murrayville this afternoon.

Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said in an email that Hall County fire fighters were on the scene on Gilstrap Mill Road from 2:45 to around 4 this afternoon.

Cagle said the five acre fire was contained and there are no injuries reported. He also said Georgia Forestry was on the scene assisting and plowed a break around the area.
