985 back open after mid-morning wreck

BUFORD - Hall County authorities have opened all lanes of I-985 northbound near Friendship Road following a mid-morning accident with injuries.

The wreck happened just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to authorities. Crews opened both northbound lanes around 11:45 a.m.

At least two vehicles were involved and Hall County dispatchers confirmed two victims were taken to area hospitals.

Authorities urged motorists to use caution in the area as traffic flow began to return to normal.
