Teen dies in Gwinnett dirt bike crash

By The Associated Press
LILBURN - Police say a 15-year-old boy died after falling from his dirt bike in Gwinnett County.

Lilburn police Capt. Thomas Bardugon told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the teen may have been trying to cross a small creek in the Arcado Road area when his dirt bike hit a sudden drop. Bardugon says the teen hit an embankment and authorities believe the teen may have broken his neck.

Bardugon says the teen was visiting from out of town and had died before emergency responders arrived.
