The Free Market Outlook Is Good

With a sluggish economy and the crash of Obamacare computers one could assume the economic future of America is bleak. But take government out of it, and look at the business world, and we see great opportunity. The old economy is sagging, that is true, but there is a new economy that is growing like a weed. The business Futurist Society just turned loose a bunch of forecasts for 2014 to 2025, and if you think things have been changing fast, you ain't seen nothin' yet. For instance, several forecasts have to do with healthcare. Most of you have given blood in a laboratory, and from that have come 11 or so results that define your current health. On the horizon is a "breathalyzer" that will tell a lot more than whether you are drunk or not. I mean a LOT more. Robots are already doing operations. But my favorite is a chip implanted in you with all your medical data on it, instead of in a file in your doctor's office or an Obamacare computer. Those who say they don't want a chip in their body overlook pacemakers, or stints, or knees. But the changes in healthcare are just the beginning. Any time you have technological change in business you have new opportunity, growth, new jobs. Here is where the entrepreneurs kick in. The business futurists see great opportunity just ahead in the business sector. So does the stock market. We hear a constant drumbeat of gloom that says the government needs to save us all, when the underlying fact is the American free-market economy is on a roll.
