ATLANTA - The White House has announced that Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to visit Atlanta later this week.
Officials say Biden is expected to speak to new U.S. citizens during a naturalization ceremony at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center on Thursday.
White House officials say the ceremony is one of 120 being held Nov. 7-13 for about 8,000 new citizens.
Officials say the event will highlight the administration's efforts to pass immigration reform policies that include a pathway to citizenship for immigrants who live and work in the U.S.
