AREA REGIONS PLAYOFF SCENARIOS:
Teams region records in parentheses
(Regions ordered from highest classification to lowest)

Region 6-AAAAAA
-- Alpharetta (6-0) is the region champion.
-- West Forsyth (5-1) can clinch the No. 2 seed with a win over Lambert (4-2).
-- North Forsyth (3-3) can clinch the No. 4 seed with a win by 5 or more points over South Forsyth (4-2).

Region 7-AAAAAA
-- The four playoff teams are locked in: Collins Hill (6-1), Norcross (6-1), North Gwinnett (6-1) and Peachtree Ridge (5-2), though seeding is still undetermined.
-- If the three teams tied at 6-1 all win on Friday, a coin flip would decide the champ. North Gwinnett faces Peachtree Ridge; Collins Hill faces a Mill Creek (4-3) that just missed out on the playoffs; Norcross faces Meadowcreek (1-8).

Region 8-AAAAA
-- The winner of the Flowery Branch (7-0) at Gainesville (7-0) game will determine the region championship and No. 2 seed.
-- Clarke Central (5-2) is the No. 3 seed.
-- Heritage, Conyers (5-3) is the No. 4 seed.

Region 8-AAAA
-- Monroe Area (6-0) is the region champion.
-- Chestatee (5-1) is the No. 2 seed.
-- Lanier (4-2) is the No. 3 seed.
-- Stephens County (3-3) can clinch the No. 4 seed with a win over Lumpkin County (1-5) or an Eastside (3-3) loss to Monroe on Friday.

Region 7-AAA
-- Three of the four playoff teams have been determined, though the region champ is still undetermined between Buford (6-0) and North Hall (5-1).
-- White County (5-1) has locked up the No. 2 seed.
-- The Wolves can win the championship with a victory at North Hall on Friday, yet North Hall can win the title if it can defeat Buford by 12 or more points. A loss or a win by less than 12 points would knock the Trojans into third place.
-- The No. 4 seed will be determined by the winner of the West Hall (3-3) at Dawson County (3-3) game.

Region 8-AAA
-- Elbert County (6-0) is the region champion.
-- The No. 2/3 seeds will be decided by the North Oconee (5-1) at Hart County (5-1) game.
-- The No. 4 seed will be determined by the winner of the Morgan County (3-3) at Jackson County (3-3) game.

Region 8-AA
-- Washington-Wilkes (6-0) is the region champion.
-- All four playoff teams have been determined -- including Jefferson (5-1), Rabun County (4-2) and Union County (4-2) -- though seeding is still to be decided.
-- Jefferson can secure the No. 2 seed with a win at Union County on Friday.
-- Rabun can secure the No. 3 seed with a win at Oglethorpe County on Friday.

Region 8-A
-- Prince Avenue Christian (5-0) is the region champ.
-- The rest of the seedings do not matter due to the Class A public/private playoff split that employ a power rating to determine seedings. Commerce (4-1) should make the playoffs -- the Tigers are currently ninth in the power ratings, and the top 16 reach the postseason. Click here for a complete look at the latest power ratings.
