NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Delgado Community College Alumni Association announces the winners of the 2012 Circle of Excellence Award. The award recognizes the achievements, service and character of outstanding Delgado alumni.
Among the six winners is Joseph Scott Morgan of Dahlonega, an assistant professor at North Georgia College and State University (NGCSU) in Dahlonega.
A committee of Delgado alumni, faculty and staff selected the six winners. The Delgado Alumni Association will honor theM at an awards dinner on Oct. 23 in Metairie, Louisana.
"These graduates demonstrate distinguished service in their fields, and commitment to their communities through involvement in professional or civic organizations, community or state organizations or volunteer service," said Connie DeBlieux, Delgado Alumni Coordinator.
