Campbell, Herdener join CBG advisory board

GAINESVILLE - The Board of Directors of Chattahoochee Bank of Georgia (CBG) announced Wednesday that Dr. D.J. Campbell and Anthony M. (Tony) Herdener have joined the bank's Advisory Board.

Campbell has been a board certified plastic surgeon at the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville and Braselton, P.C. since August 2007 after completing his plastic surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He graduated Cum Laude from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C., where he was the quarterback and captain of the ASU football team.

He began his medical training at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, receiving a medical degree with highest honors in 1999. He then entered the Residency Program at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga. Dr. Campbell also serves on the Board of Directors of We Care.

He grew up in Cleveland, Georgia, and now resides in Gainesville with his wife Jennifer, daughter Hannah and son Blevin.

HERDENER

Herdener is the Chief Financial Officer of Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) and has been in that position since 1995. Prior to joining NGHS, he served as CFO of Saint Joseph Health System of Atlanta. A Certified Public Accountant, he received his Master's in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash.

Active in the community, Herdener is a member of the Gainesville Rotary Club and is slated to serve as Club President in 2013. He has been active with The United Way of Hall County on the Budget & Allocation Committee; the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Hall County; Lakeview Academy, where he served as Chairman of the Finance Committee; and Elachee Nature Center, serving in the past as Chairman of the Board and is the current Audit Committee Chair. He is also a Lector with St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gainesville.

He and his wife, Cathy, have two children, Paul and Carrie.
