HCFS sets dates for 2012 Camp Lifesavers

By Staff
GAINESVILLE - Hall County Fire Services (HCFS) will once again be hosting Camp LifeSavers, a one-day safety camp for children.

This year's camp is being hosted in collaboration with Hall County Parks and Leisure Services. It is designed for children ages 6-11, and will discuss a variety of injury prevention areas. Arts, crafts, activities, and displays will fill the day. Lunch will be provided.

This year, Camp Lifesavers will be held in two different locations.

On Tuesday, July 10, it will be hosted at East Hall Community Center located at 3911 P Davison Road. On Thursday, July 12, the camp will be hosted at Mulberry Creek Community Center, 4491 JM Turk Road. The hours both days will be 9:00-4:00.

There is no charge for the camp, and all children registered will receive a t-shirt. Registration forms are available on the Hall County Fire Services webpage, www.hallcountyfire.org, and may be returned by mail, email, or fax.

Due to limited space, children will only be allowed to attend one of the two dates. Those applying should indicate which date they wish to attend.
If you have questions concerning Camp Lifesavers, you should contact Lt. Beverley Walker at 770-531-6838, or [email protected].
