Cause unknown in fire that destroyed Winder home

WINDER - Barrow County authorities continue to investigate what started a fire that completely destroyed a Winder home Monday morning.

Officials with Barrow County Emergency Services said units responded to the 700 block of Ode Peppers Road around 10:45 a.m. to find the house heavily involved in flames.

They said no one was injured in the fire but one person was displaced as a result.
