Girls basketball: Chestatee rallies to beat Stephens County

TOCCOA -- Chestatee rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to knock off Stephens County 41-35 Tuesday night on the road.

The Lady War Eagles (4-1) trailed 20-13 after the firsat two quarters but pulled within 29-28 after the third quarter and then pullked away for the win outscoring the Lady Indians (1-4) 13-6 in the final eight minutes.

Maegan Kenimer paced Chestatee again with 18 points. Erin Clifford added 13 points for the Lady War Eagles.

Chestatee next will play host to Johnson on Friday.
