Girls basketball: North Georgia Christian win on the road

The North Georgia Christian Lady Chargers varsity basketball team defeated the Horizon Christian Academy Lady Warriors 46-38 on Monday in Cumming.

The Lady Chargers trailed by 10 in the first quarter but steadily climbed back to take the lead and the win.

Julianne Sutton paced the Lady Chargers (2-1) with a double-double, netting 19 points and 17 rebounds. Sarah Rhodes also added 10 points.

North Georgia Christian will play again on Friday night against Unity Christian at home in Flowery Branch.
