Firefighters battle shop fire in Pendergrass

PENDERGRASS - Jackson County firefighters tackled an early morning blaze Thursday in Pendergrass.

According to the fire department, the blaze was in a 20 by 20 shop building in the 1800 block of New Cut Road. It happened around 4:20 a.m.

No injuries were reported. Investigators are looking for the cause.
