Trooper career fair scheduled in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE - The Georgia State Patrol is looking for a few good troopers.

Officials with GSP say they will host a career fair Friday, November 9, at the Georgia State Patrol Post 6 in Gainesville, 2000 Cleveland Highway.

The patrol will be accepting applications for the 93rd Georgia State Patrol Trooper School. Applications will be accepted between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. on November 9.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, possess a diploma from an accredited high school or G.E.D, and must be 21 years old upon graduation from Trooper School.
