North Hall Park grand opening set for Nov. 17

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Board of Commissioners is hosting a grand opening for the new North Hall Park on Nov. 17 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

It will feature free food, music, games, face painting and other activities for children and adults of all ages. Tours of the new facility will also be provided.

North Hall Park includes four Little League baseball fields, a running track, walking trails, a multipurpose field and a children's play area. Future phases will include a recreational lawn, sports fields, hiking/bicycling trails and natural areas.

The North Hall Park also includes a community center, featuring basketball courts, a fitness center, a technology center, an indoor walking track, community rooms, a game room, showers and lockers. The technology center, located within the community center, includes a help desk, coffee shop, meeting rooms, private study rooms, as well as rooms specifically designed for use by children and teenagers.

The park is located at 4175 Nopone Road.
