OAKWOOD -- The West Hall girls basketball team continues to roll at the right time.
The Lady Spartans won their fifth straight Region 8B-AAA game after beating Oconee County 40-28 Tuesday night at the West Hall gym.
Oconee County opened the game with a 14-9 fourth quarter but West Hall held the Lady Warriors to just 14 points the rest of the game. The Lady Spartans outscored Oconee 20-10 in the second and third quarters to take a 29-24 lead into the fourth quarter.
West hall put the game away with a 11-4 run in the fourth quarter.
The Lady Spartans (10-15, 7-4 in subregion) was led by Maia Booker with 10 points and five steals. Kaelyn Gattis added eight points and LeNiesha Kearse had eight rebounds for West Hall.
Oconee County was paced by Morgan Meglio with nine points.
West Hall will close out its season Friday at home against Monroe Area.
