Boys basketball: Hampton, Chapman shoot East Hall past St. Francis

ALPHARETTA -- Hayden Chapman hit four free throws in the final 4.3 seconds to help East Hall preserve a 86-82 win over St. Francis Friday night.

The Vikings (5-4) led after ecvery quarter but the game was tight throughout. they led 17-14 after the first quarter, 37-32 at halftime and 60-54 heading into the fourth quarter.

Chapman finished with 20 points but J.C. Hampton had another huge game for East Hall with 37 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Brian Edwards had 13 points, eight rebounds and three blocks, and Joe Berry 12 points to go with eight rebounds and three blocks for the Vikings.
