OAKWOOD -- West Hall held Johnson scoreless in the first quarter en route to a 47-27 win in Region 8B-AAA girls action.
The Lady Spartans (4-13, 1-2 in subregion) did not let up in the second quarter taking a 29-12 lead into halftime. They then held the Lady Knights to just seven points in the third quarter to take a 37-19 lead.
West Hall was paced by Kaelyn Gattis with 15 and five rebounds. Brooke Reed and Jensen Hall each had six points and Jessica Dambach and LeNiesha Kearse had five points each for the Lady Spartans
Johnson was led by 11 points from Lyndsey Pethel and 10 points from Harlee Robson.
West Hall next will travel to Lanier Saturday in another Region 8B-AAA battle.
