Local Businesses And Individuals Recongnized At Chamber Banquet

(Cleveland)- Adam's Foods IGA in Cleveland has been recognized as the business of the year and Jacky Jones Ford  honored with the Civic Merit award at Friday nights White County Chamber of Commerce annual meeting.  Around 200 people filled Masters Hall at Unicoi State Park  Lodge for the annual business meeting of the Chamber.  

Greg and Leslie Adams of Adam's IGA  was selected as the top business for the year for their work and service in the community.  Jacky Jones Ford, which has been in business in White County for 25 years was honored with the chambers most prestigious  award, the Civic Merit Award.  

Also recognized at the annual meeting was Donny Parker, with Parker Traffic Marking as the chamber Volunteer of the Year, Nadine Wardenga, who operates Wardenga's  Catering was  named Entrepreneur of the Year , and Bean Creek resident, school bus drive  and community leader Ms. Andy Allen was honored with the Citizen of the Year award.  

At the conclusion of the annual meeting  Steve Stack received  the Chairman's gavel  from outgoing chamber board chair Scott Roland.
