DAHLONEGA - Chestatee Regional Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. George Petro to their healthcare team.
Dr. Petro is a 1996 graduate of Lumpkin County High School and received his Bachelors in Biology at North Georgia College and State University in 2000. He received his MD from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2005 and just completed his residency training at Greenville Hospital System University Medical Centers in Greenville, South Carolina.
Dr. Petro is dual specialty trained in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Med-Peds), and will see patients from newborn to senior citizens.
Dr. Petro joins Dr. Richard Wherry, board-certified Family Practice and Dr. Leana Karnstedt, board-certified Internal Medicine at Dahlonega Family Practice, located at 59 Tipton Drive in Dahlonega.
