Gainesville State College announces honor graduates

OAKWOOD - Gainesville State College held its Spring Commencement Thursday evening in the Hugh M. Mills Physical Education Complex on the Gainesville campus.

Students from both the Gainesville and Oconee campuses participated in the ceremony and a total of 351 Bachelor of Science, Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science degrees and Certificates was awarded.

The College was honored to have Regent Dink NeSmith, member of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia present the keynote speech at this special event.

A total of 31 students graduated with honors. The following individuals had the highest GPA in his/her degree area.
