New Forsyth Co. shopping center opens

CUMMING - A new shopping center opened in Forsyth County Wednesday.

The Avenue Forsyth is located on Georgia 400 at Exit 13 (Peachtree Parkway) and features 600,000 square feet of space.

Described by the developer, Cousins Properties of Atlanta, as an open-air specialty retail center, it consists of about 50 stores and five restaurants on 108 acres. A second phase, consisting of 50 acres, is scheduled for completion in 2011.

Among the tenants are: Aeropostale; AMC Avenue Forsyth 12 (movie theatres); American Eagle; Ann Taylor Loft; Barnes & Noble; Bath & Body Works; Chick-Fil-A; Chico's; The Chocolaterie; Coldwater Creek; DSW; Ichiban Steakhouse; J. Jill; Little Azio; Talbots; Ted's Montana Grill; Victoria's Secret; and White House/Black Market.
