ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia scored only one field goal over the final 13 minutes but held off Presbyterian 68-58 Sunday.

Billy Humphrey scored 12 to lead the Bulldogs (8-3), including a fade-away with 13:33 to play that put Georgia up 59-34. But a layup by Dave Bliss with 9:07 to play was the only other field goal Georgia scored in the rest of the second half.

The Bulldogs led 10-0 before they even missed a field goal and scored the first 15 points of the game before Presbyterian scored five minutes into the game on a 3-pointer by Walt Allen.

Georgia mounted another 8-0 run late in the first half to push the lead to 37-16 as Humphrey banked one in from the left side with 5:16 to go in the half.

The Bulldogs were up 45-22 at halftime.

Georgia got 10 points each from Terrence Woodbury, Bliss and Jeremy Price. Sundiata Gaines gathered in 11 rebounds.
