Graduation ceremonies underway in next few days

GAINESVILLE - High school graduation gets underway in a few days for public schools in Hall County.

Graduation for the seven public high schools in the county begins Friday when East Hall seniors pick up their diplomas at 7:00 at the mountains center. An hour later, graduation is to get underway for Gainesville High seniors. That ceremony will be held at the GHS gym.

Two more schools - Flowery Branch and Johnson - hold their ceremonies the next day at 11:30 and 5:00, respectively, Flowery Branch at Free Chapel and Johnson at the mountains center.

Monday, May 22, it's North Hall's turn; Tuesday, May 23, it's West
Hall. Both at the mountains center, both at 7:00.

And, that's the time and place for Chestatee graduation on Wednesday, May 24.

Saturday, May 27, the ceremony for Lanier Career Academy will be held at 7:00 at Pearce Auditorium at Brenau University.
