GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Fire Marshal says he has the answer to the earth tremor that was felt in the Chestnut Mountain area Monday-blasting by a construction company.
Scott Cagle said Tuesday the company has permit for blasting as part of a job across from Chestnut Mountain School.
Danny Loggins who lives in that area says he felt the ground shake as did his daughter, "She was outside and heard it out there and then some neighbors came out and they were looking around wondering what was going on also."
