Dahlonega murder trial ends with guilty verdict

DAHLONEGA - A Roswell man has been found guilty of murder in the death of his wife at their mountain home near Dahlonega.

56-year-old David Muller was sentenced to life in prison after the jury returned its verdict yesterday afternoon. Deliberations began Monday.

Muller had claimed he shot his wife in self-defense two years ago after she shot at him with another gun during an incident.

The Dahlonega trial lasted seven days.
