ATLANTA - The latest candidates to qualify for the July General Election primaries in Hall County include one for district attorney and two for the state Legislature.
Lisa Jones, a former Hall County Assistant District Attorney, qualified to seek the Republican Party's nomination for the top job.
Lee Hawkins also signed up for the Republican Primary and will be seeking the State Senate District 50 post.
Also among the latest to qualify for a Hall County post is Ralph Taylor, a Buford attorney, who plans to run in the GOP Primary of the State House seat Stacey Reece of Gainesville is leaving.
Noon Friday is the deadline for candidates to qualify.
