GAINESVILLE - Another sign of the residential growth that is spreading into North Hall: county planners are to consider three new developments later this month, totaling 141 homes.

A 41-lot subdivision is planned on Glade Farm Road near Clarks Bridge Road. Developers are rezoning a rezoning from AR-IV to R-I for the 46-acre tract.

Another 55 houses are in the works on Britt Whitmire Road near Lawson Road. That's a 61-acre site and the same rezoning is being requested.

And, on Thompson Bridge Road at Price Road, developers are planning an 82-acre shopping center/residential development, which would include 45 townhomes. The developers are requesting rezoning from AR-III, R-1, R-II, V-C and H-B to PCD (Planned Commercial Development) and PRD (Planned Residential Development).

All of the applications are on the Hall County Plannnig Commission agenda for Oct. 16.

Also on the agenda is a proposal for a business center on two acres on Barber Road at Calvary Church Road.
